Negligible (Outcome Severity)
Errors have no meaningful consequence
Negligible is the lowest outcome severity level: errors have no meaningful consequence for the organisation or affected parties at the point of bind.
Examples: internal routing suggestions, low-stakes recommendations, search ranking tweaks where wrong answers are cheap.
A naked LLM may be acceptable in P · negligible cells for automated bind — but Rule 4 still applies: output that feeds a significant or catastrophic downstream decision must be re-evaluated at consumption severity, not at generation severity.
Do not classify consequential work as negligible to avoid commitment boundary cost — classification drift is predictable under delivery pressure.
