Alberto Brandolini
Inventor of Event Storming — DDD practitioner and facilitator
Author
Software consultant and Domain-Driven Design practitioner; created Event Storming as a collaborative workshop format for domain discovery.
Alberto Brandolini is an Italian software consultant and long-standing member of the Domain-Driven Design community. He invented Event Storming — the facilitated workshop format in which teams map domain events on a timeline before designing aggregates, services, or persistence.
What we cite
- Event Storming as the standard practice for collaborative domain event discovery — real-world verbs on a shared timeline, not CRUD-shaped schemas first.
- The method’s role in surfacing vocabulary that Domain Events Are Not CRUD and CRUD as domain language argue must stay explicit in tier-one naming.
